  • 500 g boneless chicken cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix it up nicely.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat them well with the spice mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and bread crumbs together.
  • Dip each marinated chicken piece into the flour and bread crumb mixture, ensuring that each piece is evenly coated. Press the coating gently to adhere it to the chicken.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown and crispy, around 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken pieces from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  • Garnish the Crunchy Chicken Masala with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot. It pairs perfectly with steamed rice, naan bread, or a refreshing cucumber and mint raita.
